Volunteer Alberta, in partnership with the Government of Alberta, has announced that the National Volunteer Week Enhancement Funding applications are now open. Through this partnership, Volunteer Alberta aims to support communities across the province to celebrate the impactful contributions of volunteers. The theme for National Volunteer Week 2026 is “Ignite Volunteerism”, which encourages Canadians to reconnect with their communities through acts of service, civic action, and mutual support. Celebrate National Volunteer Week in Canada from April 19–25, 2026.
There are two grant tiers available:
- Host Site: $600
- Feature Site: $1,200
