Volunteer Toronto has launched a new COVID-19 Learning Library to help non-profits safely engage volunteers during the pandemic. New resources are added to the Library every week:
- Pre-recorded webinars for adapting each stage of the Volunteer Management Cycle during a pandemic
- Non-profit success stories featuring volunteer managers currently engaging volunteers in various sectors
- Quick resources and digital tools for in person and virtual programs
Many non-profits have suspended volunteer engagement, despite a dramatic increase in volunteer interest from the community. Now, more than ever, the sector must prioritize volunteer engagement programs to increase organizational capacity and harness new public support.
