Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, many charities, nonprofits and social enterprises are facing numerous challenges, including deep revenue declines, rising costs, and/or increased demand. As part of Imagine Canada‘s holistic approach to support the sector during this time of need, they are encouraging greater philanthropy.
Local charities, nonprofits and social enterprises play a key role in our communities. Right now, community organizations are facing challenges in generating revenue, including low brand recognition and restrained fundraising and grant writing capacity. The purpose of this campaign is to draw attention to such organizations to help them attract support in the form of donations, volunteers, and awareness. Imagine Canada has launched a #HelpTheHelpers social media campaign and asks you to share your post and tag 3 organizations.
