BMO Community Giving Programs support registered charities and nonprofits in Canada. Funding applications are accepted online and are considered if you have a program or project that aligns with BMO’s focus areas and meets the eligibility criteria. BMO aims to support programs and initiatives in the following areas:

• Community and economic resilience: including support for financial literacy, skills development, social services, education,  health equity and accessible arts and cultural programming.
• Environmental resilience: including conservation efforts, alternative energy projects in low-income neighbourhoods, public awareness and education campaigns and innovative new research efforts.

Grant applications will be accepted during the following periods in 2025:

• February 1 – March 31
• August 1 – September 30
