The CAGP Foundation developed Empowering Philanthropy: An Overview of Donor-Advised Funds, a suite of resources which includes a comprehensive guide and four companion pieces tailored for donors, charities, financial professionals, and foundations. Throughout this suite of resources, fundraisers, financial advisors, donors, and stakeholders will learn how to navigate this evolving area of strategic giving. The suite of resources was developed by a national working group of sector experts, including practitioners, fundraisers, legal specialists, and financial professionals – co-chaired by Nicola Elkins (Benefaction Foundation) and Malcolm Burrows (Aqueduct Foundation). According to the CAGP Foundation, their collective experience ensures a balanced, practical perspective on one of the most dynamic areas of philanthropy today.
