The Government of Canada announced that the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) renewal period opens on April 15, 2026. The CDCP helps make the cost of dental care more affordable for eligible Canadian residents.

The CDCP will help pay a portion of the cost for a wide range of oral health care services. Many services are covered without preauthorization, and others require preauthorization.
