The 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo Nordisk, funded in part by the Government of Canada, encourages people in communities across Canada to participate in physical activity and sports throughout June. Communities are competing for the title of Canada’s Most Active Community and will receive a grand prize of $100,000 in funding for local sport and physical activity initiatives. There are also regional prizes, which include $5,000 to $10,000 awarded to the most active community in each of the remaining 12 provinces and territories.

Step 2: Add your organization’s or active group’s activity(ies)

Step 3: As of June 1, track the number of people who participate in your program(s), initiative(s) and/or event(s).
