Philanthropy has never been more important. This year, more than ever, the impact of giving is felt by charities large and small in Ottawa, and their beneficiaries. The community benefits from the many individuals, families, groups and businesses that make outstanding contributions of time, leadership, and funding to countless local charitable organizations. The Philanthropy Awards, presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Ottawa Chapter, were created to acknowledge these expressions of generosity and commitment to community.

The deadline for submissions is 5:00pm on Friday, June 5, 2020 for consideration by this year’s Selection Committee. Please note the Selection Committee is the same for all eight awards this year. All eight awards will be presented at the AFP Ottawa Philanthropy Awards Gala on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the NAC. Tickets will be available for purchase in September. Please know, while we continue to make plans for the AFP Ottawa Philanthropy Awards Gala, we are monitoring the developments around COVID-19 and we will follow the guidelines from Ottawa Public Health.
