Vantage Point has launched this survey in an effort to catch concrete, practical data on the state of BC’s nonprofit sector as of April 2020. The survey results will be openly available to you as well as funders, umbrella organizations and others to be used for the following:
  • To advocate for the needs and inclusion of the whole non-profit sector during and post the COVID-19 pandemic,
  • To help funders identify meaningful emergency and recovery funding and support programs, and
  • To collect baseline data on BC’s nonprofit sector for long-term planning and collaboration.
They are also working with provincial and federal nonprofit organizations with similar mandates to Vantage Point to ensure theye have up to date information about the strength and scope of our sector across the country.

It will take 12-18 minutes to complete the survey. There are 24 questions and you should be able to complete it without the need to look up information or dig up files. It is anonymous, but the raw data will be shared with other 3rd parties, particularly the partners in the development and distribution of the survey, the Vancouver Foundation and the City of Vancouver.

The survey will remain open until April 20, 2020. However, answers submitted before the deadline will still be considered by funders as decisions are made in real-time — so the sooner you let them know how you can be supported, the better. In recognition of your time, survey respondents can enter to win a $50 London Drugs gift card. Instructions are available at the end of the survey.
