The Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) is now accepting applications from institutions who are interested in hosting CCI-CHIN webinars in 2021–2022!

Webinars will cover a variety of topics related to the conservation and preservation of objects and collections, such as the care of metals, digital preservation and exhibit lighting.

How does it work? CHIN will provide the instructor and content free of charge. Institutions are responsible for hosting the webinar and for other related items, such as registering participants and choosing a videoconferencing platform. CH?iN can offer assistance to host institutions in remote areas where web connectivity may be an issue.

To apply, complete the Apply to host a training or learning activity form. Applications are due by May 21, 2021, and selections will be made in early June.

For more information on webinar topics, the application process for institutions and instructions on how to register as a participant, consult CHIN’s new Webinars section online.
