Nancy Bélanger is Canada’s Commissioner of Lobbying, overseeing transparency and ethics in federal lobbying. Appointed in 2017 and reappointed in 2024, she brings over 35 years of legal and public service experience. She previously held senior roles at the Office of the Information Commissioner and the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner.

Sean Moore
Founder and Principal, Advocacy School
Sean Moore is Founder and Principal of Advocacy School and one of Canada’s most experienced practitioners, writers and teachers on public-policy advocacy. He has more than 40 years experience in advocacy related to local, provincial/state and federal government affairs in Canada, the United States and Western Europe.

Jackie Neapole is the executive director of the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women/ l’Institut canadien de recherches sur les femmes (CRIAW-ICREF). Since 2013, Jackie has been involved in CRIAW-ICREF’s multi-year projects with community-based and academy-based feminist researchers, including leading projects funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada and as a collaborator on projects funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
