As of April 1, 2026, registered charities will no longer have the option to submit documents by fax to the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Charities Directorate. Faxed documents will not be received by the Charities Directorate as of this date. If you have been using fax, you will need to use the CRA’s online services to submit your annual T3010 information return or other documents to the CRA.
Submitting documents and written enquiries online through your CRA account is the fastest, safest, and most reliable way to connect with the CRA and manage your charity’s obligations—and it’s eco-friendly and convenient.
