Applications for the Screening Development Grants (SDG) are now open for 2020! With up to $3,000, you can update or develop screening policies and practices to recruit and engage volunteers virtually and in-person. The Volunteer Screening Development Grant is designed to support the development of effective screening practices and processes. The grant provides up to $3,000 to support nonprofit organizations facing resource and capacity challenges in the area of volunteer screening. Eligible organizations must work with vulnerable populations and engage volunteers in approved positions of trust or authority.

Funding is flexible to support and suit your organization’s needs to develop your screening practices. Along with funds you’ll receive education, support and a chance to connect with and learn from your peers during the program.
