When the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic in March 2020, the impact on events involving public gatherings was immediate and significant. In the May TPG Pulse for Associations survey , 97% of respondents reported at least one in-person event scheduled between March 2020 and November 2020. The vast majority of these events has been affected by COVID 19.
Based on the responses of 372 Canadian associations and other not-for-profit organizations between April 29 and May 8, 2020, TPG and the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) have published a report on the findings focused specifically on in-person events.
