Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) and the Ending Violence Association of British Columbia (EVA BC) launched a new program today geared to help workers facing sexual harassment on the job. Called SHARP Workplaces, the program provides free legal advice, education and information to address workplace sexual harassment in the province.

CLAS’s SHARP Workplaces Legal Clinic provides up to five hours of FREE, CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL ADVICE from a lawyer to anyone in B.C. who is experiencing or has experienced sexual harassment at work. Lawyers provide advice on your legal options, assistance with reviewing or drafting documents, advice as you go through a legal process and referrals to support services or assistance from an advocate.

In addition, SHARP Workplaces offers FREE public legal education with specialized modules on workplace sexual harassment.

Anyone can access SHARP Workplaces’ legal advice or request a free workshop by calling 604-673-3143 or toll-free: 1-888-685-6222, or emailing SHARPWorkplaces@clasbc.net
