The WorkBC Youth Community Partnership stream is designed to support communities and youth in BC impacted by COVID-19. Through this stream, communities can provide youth with opportunities to contribute to their community while gaining work-related skills and experience for future job opportunities or their return to school.
Eligible Applicants:
- Nonprofit community providers
- Nonprofit environmental organizations
- Local governments
- Indigenous communities
- Employer Associations
- Chambers of Commerce

Funding:
- The maximum funding per application is $110,000
- The maximum funding per participant is $10,000 per fiscal year (April 1 to March 31)
- This amount is cumulative across CWRG-funded projects within the same fiscal year
Expected Outcome:
As the economy recovers, youth will be able to use the work-related skills and experience they gain to enter, or return to, the labour force or to move on to further education and training.
Current Status:
The Youth Community Partnership stream will be accepting applications from communities province-wide starting June 29, 2020. The stream will close October 31, 2020.
